2000 May 8 Meeting at Crestview Hills, requested by Cinergy, with Crestview Hills City Administrator Kevin Celarek, who requests attendance also by Mayor Paul Meier, attended by 5 Cinergy persons.

2000 Jun 9 At Cinergy's invitation, travel to Trenton, OH plant, in Butler County, including: Celarek, Meier, Erlanger Administrator Bill Scheyer, and Cinergy's _______ Needham and Tom Chaney.

2000 Jul 20 Cinergy provides a large bus to Tilton, IL, a 6-hour round trip, including Celarek, Crestview Hills Council Member Joe Maloney, and a few others. Maloney takes pictures.

2000 Jul 24 Cinergy conducts Open House at Thomas More College.

2000 August 10 Crestview Hills Votes (4 Yes, 1 Abstain, 1 Recuse) to oppose Power Plant.

2000 mid-Summer Residents on Hulbert were canvassed by Cinergy representatives, leaving pamphlets, indicating Cinergy's intent on locating a "mini" Power Plant on Kenton Lands Rd to go on "only' in peak situations, minimizing the impact to residents and property owners.

2000 September 05

City Administrator – Mr. Scheyer said Cinergy wants to develop a small plant on their Erlanger Road property. They would like to attend a committee meeting next Tuesday to explain the plant to the City Council.

2000 September 19

Mr. Wichmann read Resolution 9-19-2000-01 supporting the Cinergy power plant. M/S, Suedkamp-Burger, to accept Resolution 9-19-2000-01 supporting the Cinergy power plant. Ten ayes, two nays (Gronefeld and Rouse), motion carried.

2000 November 21

City Administrator – Mr. Scheyer said a Citizens Committee was formed to discuss the proposed Cinergy Plant. The committee is formed of citizens from Erlanger and Crestview Hills. They are reviewing the noise and safety issues. There are consultants from both cities on the committee.
